SQL/Unix Shell Scripting Professional

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute backend testing and validate application functionality across environments.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts using Unix/Shell.
• Manage QA environments, including understanding of databases and application architecture.
• Debug error logs, analyze root causes, and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Write and execute SQL scripts to access, update, and validate tests in RDBMS databases.
• Maintain and manage test cases, documentation, and test execution results.
• Utilize version control, CI/CD, and project tracking tools for test automation and defect management (Good to have).

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of backend testing concepts.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
• Experience in test automation using Unix/Shell scripting.
• Understanding of QA environments and database fundamentals.
• Ability to debug error logs and perform root cause analysis.
• SQL scripting experience to support testing activities.
• Good to have: hands-on experience with GIT, Jenkins, and Jira.
