Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Very Good Experience in SQL Tuning (indexes, partitioning, pruning, joints , filter predicate etc.,) weightage is more than 50%.
  • Optimizer/Stats/Explain Plan/Wait events/locks/Partitioning/ Dead blocks/Index/Hints etc.
  • Very good Exposure to code analysis From Database Tuning Point Of View.
  • Approach to identify issues caused due to Database (SQL+ Configuration + Hardware).
  • AWR Report Analysis Very good experience in identifying issues caused due to wait events.

NESTED LOOPs vs HASH JOIN.

  • Performance tuning core and working knowledge with a certification in the area is good to have.
  • Production support knowledge with regards to proactive and reactive tuning Mandatory skills.
  • Very Good Experience in SQL Tuning (indexes, partitioning, pruning, joints , filter predicate etc.,) weightage is more than 50.
