Maimsd Technology is looking for a skilled SQL Server Developer to join our team. We need someone with solid experience in SQL Server development, including strong query writing, database design, and data integration. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions within SQL Server (2016 or newer).
- Design and optimize database schemas, including normalization and denormalization.
- Create and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, and views to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
- Develop and implement SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
- Work with large datasets, integrating information from multiple disparate sources to support business needs.
- Utilize T-SQL, SSRS, and SSMS for development, reporting, and administration tasks.
- Manage database changes and deployment processes, collaborating with development and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, providing clear written and verbal communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL Server (2016 or newer) in a development capacity.
- Database Design & Development:
- Proficient in database design, normalization, and denormalization techniques.
- Experience in creating and maintaining tables, indexes, views, and other database objects.
- Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Ability to work with large datasets and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Tools & Technologies:
- Proficient in T-SQL, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Familiarity with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.
- Version Control & Deployment:
- Experience with source control systems like Git or SVN.
- Familiarity with database deployment processes and change management.
- Problem-Solving & Communication:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and OLAP cubes.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
