Job Description

Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain SQL Server databases (2008, 2008R2, 2012).
Handle database migration activities, especially from SQL Server 2008 to 2012, including troubleshooting post-migration issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, validate, and resolve application-related database issues.
Implement and manage High Availability solutions including Always On Availability Groups.
Configure and troubleshoot Log Shipping, Replication, and SQL Server Clustering.
Manage and support large-scale and high-volume database environments.
Work with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS for reporting and integration (added advantage).
Perform database performance tuning using indexing strategies, DMVs, SQL counters, and DBCC commands.
Design and implement backup and recovery strategies.
Monitor database health and ensure optimal performance and uptime.
