Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server databases (2016/2019/2022).
  • Monitor and optimize database performance using indexing, query tuning, and resource analysis.
  • Perform regular backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implement and manage high availability solutions (Always On, Clustering, Replication).
  • Automate routine tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell scripts.
  • Manage database security, roles, permissions, and data access policies.
  • Work closely with development teams to deploy and maintain SQL objects (stored procedures, triggers, functions).
  • Perform capacity planning, data migration, and patch management.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration
  • Proficient in T-SQL scripting for administration and development tasks
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Agent Jobs
  • Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies and tools
