Job Role- SQL/Oracle DB administartor
Job Location- Chennai
Exp Range: 5 Years to 8 Years.
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):
- Strong documentation skills to ensure that database configurations, procedures, and solutions are well-documented. Experience using Oracle Data Guard / Fast Start Failover
- experience with Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB)
- Good knowledge in Oracle & SQL Administration
- Install, maintain, and upgrade SQL Server instances, Oracle
- Develop and implement database security policies to protect sensitive data
- Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks to ensure optimal operations
- Design and implement database backup strategies, disaster recovery processes, and failover systems
- Perform regular database audits to identify any irregularities or potential security breaches
- Design and maintain database schemas and create SQL scripts for table creation and data manipulation
- Work closely with developers and engineers to improve application performance and solve database-related issues
- Train and support database users and developers, and provide technical support for SQL Server database environments
