Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented interns to join our Accounting & Revenue Applications team. The intern will work closely with the technical and business teams to support backend application processes, data analysis, and accounting-related system operations.
This role is ideal for candidates who have a basic understanding of SQL, backend technologies, and accounting concepts, and are looking to gain hands-on experience in enterprise applications and financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of accounting and revenue applications
- Work on SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, views, and data validation activities
- Assist in backend data processing and application monitoring
- Support reconciliation and revenue-related data analysis
- Coordinate with technical and functional teams for issue tracking and resolution
- Understand and analyze accounting workflows and transaction processing
- Help maintain data accuracy and system records
- Prepare reports and documentation as required
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SQL including queries, joins, stored procedures, views, and functions
- Basic understanding of .NET technologies and C#
- Understanding of .NET Windows Services and backend application processing
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts such as:
- Debit/Credit
- Journal Entries
- Revenue Recognition
- Reconciliation Processes
- Financial Workflows
- Ledgers and Refunds
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Good communication and learning attitude
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc (CS/IT) / B.Com / MBA (Finance/Analytics) students or recent graduates
- Candidates with internship/project experience in SQL, backend support, or finance systems will be preferred
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to MySQL/SQL Server
- Basic understanding of APIs or backend systems
- Knowledge of financial systems or ERP applications is an added advantage
