SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for routine SQL Server database administration tasks, including database creation/deletion, user account management, storage modifications, and database restarts.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Ansible or other scripting/automation tools to automate database tasks.
• Integrate automated tasks into a self-service catalog, allowing users to provision and manage databases independently.
• Collaborate with other teams to understand their database needs and tailor automation solutions accordingly.
• Thoroughly document automation processes and service catalog offerings for maintainability and troubleshooting.
• Continuously improve existing automation solutions and explore new opportunities for automation within the SQL Server environment.
• Qualifications: Proven experience in SQL Server database administration.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Ansible, or other relevant automation tools.
• Experience in any Cloud like Google Cloud (preferred), Azure/AWS.
• Experience in developing and managing service catalogs for IT operations.
• Deep understanding of database management best practices and principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
