Role Overview:

We are looking for a SQL Developer Intern who is interested in working with structured data, database systems, and performance-driven querying. This role focuses on writing efficient queries, managing datasets, and supporting analytics workflows in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting

* Work with relational databases to manage structured datasets

* Assist in building views, stored procedures, and basic database logic

* Perform data validation and ensure consistency across multiple sources

* Analyze query performance and suggest improvements

* Prepare datasets for dashboards and reporting tools

* Support data-related requirements from internal or client projects

* Document database schemas, queries, and workflows

Required Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

* Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts

* Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

* Knowledge of joins, indexing, normalization, and query optimization basics

* Analytical thinking and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

* Exposure to database projects or coursework

* Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

* Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines

* Experience handling moderately large datasets
