About the Role

This internship is designed for those who enjoy working with databases and ensuring data flows smoothly across systems. As an SQL Developer Intern at Infrabyte Consulting, you'll be responsible for writing queries, optimizing performance, and supporting applications that rely on structured data. The role provides a strong foundation in database management and backend operations.

Responsibilities

* Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation

* Design and maintain database structures to support applications

* Assist in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues

* Collaborate with developers to integrate databases with applications

* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems

* Document queries, procedures, and database changes

Requirements

* Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields

* Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals and relational database concepts

* Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server

* Knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, and indexing

* Experience with Git/GitHub for version control is a plus

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
