Role Overview:

We are looking for a SQL Developer Intern who is interested in working with databases, writing efficient queries, and managing structured data. This role offers practical exposure to database design, query optimization, and data handling in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and analysis

* Assist in designing and maintaining database tables, views, and schemas

* Perform data validation and ensure consistency across datasets

* Support query optimization and database performance improvement tasks

* Work with large datasets to prepare data for analytics and reporting

* Assist in creating stored procedures and basic database logic

* Collaborate with analysts and developers to fulfill data requirements

* Document database structures, queries, and workflows

Required Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

* Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts

* Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

* Knowledge of joins, indexing, normalization, and query optimization basics

* Analytical thinking and attention to detail

* Basic understanding of data structures and database design

* Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with database-related projects or coursework

* Familiarity with reporting tools or dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)

* Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines

* Exposure to real-world datasets is an advantage
