About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions to support business applications and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, queries, and stored procedures

• Write efficient SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting

• Optimize database performance by tuning queries and indexes

• Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and business teams

• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security

• Create and maintain database documentation and reports

• Support database migrations, backups, and recovery processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and normalization concepts

• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, or PostgreSQL
  

• Understanding of joins, views, indexes, triggers, and stored procedures

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

• Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
  

• Familiarity with database performance tuning

• Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting

• Internship or project experience in database development
