About the Role

We are looking for a SQL Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on database development, query optimization, data management, business intelligence, and intelligent data workflows.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to SQL queries, database design, data modeling, ETL processes, stored procedures, reporting systems, and performance optimization, helping improve how AI models understand and generate high-quality database solutions.

Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for intelligent coding assistants, analytics platforms, database automation, and enterprise data management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated SQL and database-related outputs
• Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
• Assess AI outputs for query accuracy, database design quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Identify inefficient queries, data inconsistencies, schema issues, performance bottlenecks, or logical errors in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
• Support workflows involving database development, ETL pipelines, reporting systems, data warehousing, and business intelligence
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on database engineering and intelligent data workflows

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with database platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle
• Strong understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, joins, stored procedures, views, and query optimization
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, reporting systems, and analytics workflows
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Python, or cloud database platforms is a plus
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
