SQL Developer

Summary: Looking for a developer who has strong skills in Java, SQL and Stored Procedures and experience in PostgreSQL.

This position requires database programming experience of 2 to 4 years with good multitasking and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Design database tables and develop the various database modules/reports using SQL and Stored Procedures and Java database wrapper classes.
• Work closely with BA, Developers, QA and PSE in completing the database modules.
• Improve/Optimize the existing SQLs and Stored Procedures in the product for better performance.
• Database tuning on production servers for performance optimizations.
• Work on multiple versions of the different product.
• Handle Level 3 support tickets and fix them, enhance reports, features based on the enhancement requirements.
• Learning and implementing new technologies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• B. Tech/B. E./MCA/M. Tech. with 2 to 4 years of related work experience required.
• 2 to 4 years of related work experience required.
• Working knowledge in SQL/Stored Procedures in PostgreSQL.
