About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer / ETL Developer with strong experience in SQL development, ETL processes, and data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database objects, ETL workflows, and automated job scheduling processes to support enterprise data platforms and reporting requirements.
This role requires strong expertise in SQL coding, ETL development, database optimization, and scheduling tools such as Autosys, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
SQL Development
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects.
- Develop optimized SQL solutions to support data processing, reporting, and business intelligence requirements.
- Perform query tuning and performance optimization to improve database efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.
ETL Development
- Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Create and manage data integration workflows to ensure accurate and timely movement of data across systems.
- Implement data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity.
- Support batch processing and data reconciliation activities.
Scheduling & Automation
- Develop and manage job scheduling workflows using Autosys.
- Monitor scheduled jobs and troubleshoot failures to ensure smooth data operations.
- Coordinate deployment and scheduling activities across multiple environments.
EDF Development & Data Management
- Design and develop EDF-related data processing components and workflows.
- Support enterprise data platforms by ensuring efficient and reliable data delivery.
- Work with structured and large-volume datasets while maintaining high performance and reliability.
Database Administration & Tools
- Utilize DBeaver for database development, query execution, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Perform data analysis and support ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, application teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide production support and perform root cause analysis for data-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Development and ETL Development.
- Strong expertise in SQL coding, including:

- Hands-on experience with DBeaver.
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL processes.

Database Skills
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
- Knowledge of database security, data integrity, and backup concepts.
