SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience in database

development and optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing efficient SQL

queries, maintaining database integrity, and supporting data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views,

and triggers

Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability

Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues

Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with applications

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security

Perform database testing, debugging, and documentation

Assist in database design and schema changes

Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs

Required Skills & Qualifications

23 years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role

Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server)

Experience with stored procedures, joins, indexes, cursors, and query optimization

Good understanding of database design concepts and normalization

Experience working with large datasets

Familiarity with performance tuning and execution plans

Basic knowledge of ETL processes and reporting tools is a plus

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL

Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.)

Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or any backend language

Experience with version control tools (Git)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
