SQL Developer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly competent SQL developer with a strong foundation in database administration to join our team. The role involves driving the ongoing development of our cloud-based technology projects. This position requires extensive experience in writing DDL and DML SQL queries for SQL Server databases, with at least 6 years of experience. The candidate should have experience in viewing and analyzing query plans in SQL Server to improve performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design databases and ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.
• Design, create, and implement database systems based on end-user requirements.
• Improve application performance.
• Prepare documentation for database applications.
• Develop database objects such as schemas, tables, views, functions, stored procedures, and dictionaries.
• Ensure data quality and integrity in databases.
• Fix issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
• Provide authentication and authorizations for users in Azure Directory and SQL Server/DB level.
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
• Manage index maintenance.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in SQL development and database administration.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in developing complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
• Expert knowledge in SQL Server administration.
• Strong knowledge in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience in transaction and deadlock analysis.
• Experience with SQL Management Studio and Azure is preferred.
• Experience developing applications with Agile team methodologies is preferred.
• Sufficient experience with Git to organize a large software project/scripts.
