SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Database Development: Design, code, test, and deploy robust database solutions, including data table structures, dictionaries, complex queries, functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• SQL & PL/SQL Programming: Apply expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming to develop high-quality, complex database code for various applications.
• Problem Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve database-related issues efficiently and effectively.
• Cross-Platform Knowledge: Work proficiently with various operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows, to support database environments.
• Programming Language Proficiency: Apply experience in at least one general-purpose programming language for scripting and automation tasks.
• Front-End Understanding: Possess a basic understanding of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling better collaboration with front-end teams.
• Stored Procedure Management: Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures for efficient data manipulation and retrieval.
• Integrated Development Environment (IDE): Work effectively within integrated development environments (IDEs) specific to database development.
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new database technologies, programming languages, and industry skills to stay updated with advancements.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming, with the ability to develop complex code.
• Strong experience with design, code, test & deploy data table structures, dictionaries, queries, complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Strong problem-solving skills capabilities.
• Knowledge in operating systems like UNIX / Linux / Windows.
• Experience in one programming language.
• Basic understanding of front-end languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Preferred).
• Knowledge of stored procedures.
• Experience in an integrated development environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with DB2, HANA, Oracle, and other databases.
