Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL databases to ensure high availability and performance.
• Optimize database queries and indexes for maximum efficiency.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies for data protection.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including updates and patching.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL programming and database design.
• Strong understanding of database backup and recovery techniques.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
• Knowledge of database security practices and data protection regulations.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
