Job Description

The SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases (20122022). The role includes implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring database security, troubleshooting performance issues, and supporting database deployments, patching, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases (2012 and above).
Perform routine database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs.
Implement and maintain database security (roles, permissions, encryption).
Assist in database deployments, patching, and upgrades.
Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Replication, and Clustering.
Collaborate with teams on database strategy, design, and AI-driven solutions.
