QA Automation LeadExperience: 5–9 Years

We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java-based automation frameworks, mobile testing, and CI/CD pipelines, along with the ability to lead and mentor QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the QA automation team across multiple projects
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Java + Selenium and Appium, Playwright
- Define and drive test strategy, frameworks, and best practices across the team
- Perform functional, regression, API, and integration testing
- Review test cases and automation scripts written by team members
- Identify, log, and track defects through to closure
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and AWS
- Participate in sprint planning, release planning, and stakeholder discussions
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Drive AI-assisted testing adoption within the QA practice
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing (4+ years)
- Expert-level proficiency in Java with Selenium (WebDriver)
- Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile (Android/iOS) test automation
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools — GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS (CodePipeline / Device Farm)
- Experience with API testing (Postman / REST Assured)
- Knowledge of test frameworks — TestNG / JUnit
- Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and automation approaches
- Team management experience — leading, mentoring, and growing QA engineers
Good to Have
- Experience with Playwright or other modern automation frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud device farms (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm)
- Exposure to performance or security testing
