Role Overview

As a Rust Developer at Spydra, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our core data processing and storage infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to build robust and efficient systems that handle massive datasets. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our critical financial applications, ensuring our clients can make informed decisions with speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-performance, low-latency data processing pipelines using Rust for our financial applications.
  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable data storage solutions using NoSQL and SQL databases to support real-time analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and improvements to our data platform, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our code.
  • Optimize existing code for performance and scalability, improving the efficiency of our data processing systems.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Required Skillset

  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy production-ready applications using Rust.
  • Proven experience working with NoSQL and SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad.
