Job Description

Infrastructure Management

  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls)
  • Manage server infrastructure, data storage, and backups (on-premise or cloud)
  • Ensure system uptime and performance across offices and remote teams

User Support & Helpdesk

  • Provide technical support for employees hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Handle onboarding/offboarding of employees with system access and provisioning
  • Maintain ticketing system for issue tracking and resolution

Application & Software Management

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain industry-specific tools:
  • AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM tools (for design teams)
  • Project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Trello)
  • Collaboration platforms (MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, Miro)
  • Manage license procurement and renewals for software

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor endpoint security, antivirus, and encryption solutions
  • Conduct regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness
  • Maintain compliance with IT policies, especially for client confidentiality and data protection (important when dealing with large corporate clients)

Cloud Services & Collaboration Tools

  • Administer cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Autodesk Cloud
  • Integrate systems for cross-functional collaboration across design, procurement, and project execution teams

Vendor & Asset Management

  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management

Digital Transformation & Automation

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and propose IT-enabled solutions
  • Implement automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate) to streamline workflows

Support For Remote And Hybrid Work

  • Ensure smooth functioning of remote access, secure logins, and cloud-based resource availability
  • Setup and support video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and collaborative project tools
