Role Overview
As a Data Scientist at Spydra, you will bridge the gap between complex blockchain data and actionable business intelligence. You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to design predictive models that optimize platform performance and enhance user experience. Your work will directly influence how our clients interpret decentralized data, turning raw transactional logs into strategic insights that drive product innovation and operational efficiency within our Bangalore-based development hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to identify patterns in blockchain transaction data, enabling proactive anomaly detection for our enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate data pipelines that ensure high-quality, real-time data availability for analytical modeling.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, data-driven narratives for non-technical stakeholders to guide product roadmap decisions.
- Architect scalable data solutions that improve the accuracy of predictive analytics, directly impacting the platform's reliability and user retention metrics.
- Mentor junior data team members and establish best practices for model validation and deployment within an agile development environment.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying machine learning models using Python, R, or Scala, with a strong grasp of statistical modeling and data mining techniques.
- Proven ability to handle large-scale datasets and optimize algorithms for performance in high-throughput environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to executive leadership and external partners.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute.
- 5 - 9 years of professional experience in data science roles, with a track record of delivering end-to-end analytical solutions.
- High level of adaptability and comfort working in a hybrid environment at our Bangalore office, collaborating effectively with both local and distributed teams.
