Position: Sports Marketing Manager

Role Summary:
The Sports Marketing Manager will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all sports-related marketing initiatives. This role focuses on building strong relationships with athletes, sports communities, event organisers, and gyms, while driving brand visibility, sampling, and high-impact activations across key sporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sports Partnerships & Athlete Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard athletes, runners, and sports influencers (KOLs).
- Manage end-to-end athlete collaborations including contract finalisation, deliverables, and content tracking.
- Build long-term relationships with sports organisations, academies, and federations.
2. Event & Marathon Activations
- Plan and execute hydration stations, expo setups, and on-ground sampling at marathons and sports events.
- Coordinate logistics, visibility, staffing, permissions, and vendor management.
- Ensure seamless execution and brand consistency across all touchpoints.
3. Gym & Studio Outreach
- Develop a structured outreach plan for gyms, fitness studios, running groups, and sports hubs.
- Lead local activations, sampling programs, and tie-ups with key fitness partners.
- Maintain a robust database and pipeline of fitness partners.
4. KOL Engagement & Community Building
- Identify and engage sports KOLs for content, community runs, and digital visibility.
- Track KOL performance, deliverables, and brand mentions.
- Create opportunities for community engagement through runs, sessions, and sports meetups.
5. Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with HOD, Sales, Medical, and Digital teams for aligned execution.
- Support Sales with sports-driven opportunities to strengthen distribution and visibility.
- Coordinate with vendors for merchandise, signage, and activation material.
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain weekly and monthly dashboards for activities, sampling, athlete impact, and ROI.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify learnings and improvements.
- Present performance insights to management and recommend next steps.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in BTL marketing, events, or a related rolepreferably within the sports, fitness, or wellness space.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and networking abilities, especially in the local fitness community.
- A proactive and creative mindset for problem-solving and campaign ideation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the Pune, Ahmedabad and Delhi City landscape is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office.
