Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sports Field Construction Supervisor to manage and oversee on-site construction activities for sports fields and related infrastructure. This is a full-time remote position that will require regular visits to project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure all construction work conforms to design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines, while maintaining effective coordination among on-site teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily on-site construction operations for sports field projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Strictly enforce safety protocols, compliance with regulations, and company safety policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communicate project requirements clearly to on-site teams and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and required documentation.
- Support on-site problem-solving by recognising challenges and proposing practical, timely solutions.
- Ensure proper use of equipment, materials, and resources to minimise wastage and maximise productivity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience supervising on-site construction teams in sports field.
- Strong expertise in site supervision, inspection, and construction quality control.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards and compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in sports infrastructure, turf construction, or golf course development is an added advantage.
