Role Overview
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving sports analysis, rule-based reasoning, and performance evaluation capabilities in advanced language models.
We are seeking experienced Sports Experts to create and evaluate high-quality sports-related prompts and responses.
This is a multilingual opportunity. We are specifically seeking experts who are fluent and deeply engaged in one or more of the following languages:
Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
Important: This role is not about translation ability alone. Candidates must have sustained, hands-on engagement with sports within their linguistic and cultural ecosystem
including familiarity with:
- League and tournament structures
- Official rule systems and scoring formats
- Player development pathways
- Statistical conventions and analytics
- Sports media narratives and fan communities
This role is ideal for sports analysts, commentators, bloggers, statisticians, fantasy sports players, coaches, competitive athletes, or highly engaged enthusiasts active in sports discourse within their language environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Author realistic sports prompts covering rules interpretation, strategy analysis, player evaluation, statistical breakdowns, historical comparisons, and league structures
- Review and refine AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, rule compliance, contextual nuance, and clarity
- Write high-quality gold standard responses for complex analytical or scenario-based sports questions
- Create controlled prompt variations testing rule differences, scoring systems, player conditions, tournament formats, and historical eras
- Evaluate outputs across tones (analytical, commentary-style, instructional, data-driven)
- Identify model failure cases such as rule misinterpretation, statistical errors, outdated references, or culturally inconsistent sports knowledge
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of sustained engagement with sports (writing, analysis, coaching, competitive participation, statistics, or active community involvement)
- Active participation in sports discourse within at least one of the specified language ecosystems
- Strong familiarity with rule systems, league structures, development pipelines, and sports culture in your region
- Ability to clearly articulate strategic reasoning and statistical analysis in the target language
- Strong written communication skills and editorial judgment
Commitment
- Expected availability: 1040 hours per week
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
