POSITION TITLE - ASPIRE Coordinator
ROLE SUMMARY – The role of the ASPIRE Coordinator to effectively and efficiently execute the Academic & Administrative functions related to the ASPIRE activity at Euro Schools. He/ She will be responsible for carrying out the plan laid out by the Principal for the academic year inword and spirit.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the ASPIRE Coordinator will be:
- Assist school in the designing and the developing a dynamic and an enriched ASPIRE curriculum.
- Support the Principal to effectively implement high quality standards of ASPIRE curriculum as guided by school.
- Liaise with the school Principal and the Operations Department at Head Office for all sports related matters and concerns;
- Manage the day to day Academic & Administrative operations of ASPIRE activities in all Schools.
- Coordinate student attendance with the coordinators;
- Attend all PTM's and sports related special events and practices
- Assist instructors in filling student Report cards for all the PTM's
- Ensure safe movement of students to and from classrooms and sports venue;
- Identify and process appropriate international, national, state- level inter-school, inter- competitions along with the respective ASPIRE instructors
- Supervise the distribution of ASPIRE equipment/resources to coaches to implement the curriculum and the utilization of the same
- Conduct regular ASPIRE curriculum workshops & Coach Reviews
- Offer special assistance to special needs children as per school philosophy
- Keep parents informed about ASPIRE related events through verbal or written communications through the Principal.
- Address all ASPIRE curriculum related queries of prospective parents
- Be the conduit between the Principal and the Operations Department at the Head office
- Participate in all centre specific sports promotional events
- Prepare all ASPIRE related reports for management purposes and forward them to the Operation Department at Head office
- Demonstrate team spirit at all times and positively motivate instructors, children and parents.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the HOS.
- Ensure all company values are understood and practiced.
KEY RESULT ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- ASPIRE Instructors, Students and, Parents understand and implement the vision and philosophy of Euro School;
- ASPIRE curriculum is effectively implemented & meets all quality standards set by the SQRP of Euro School;
- Day-to-day ASPIRE operations - Academic & Administrative functions are resolved, effective within agreed time lines;
- All ASPIRE instructors maintaining regular and updated records of each student's performance;
- All student attendance is maintained with the coordinators;
- Student Report cards are duly filled before the PTM;
- Attendance in all Schools PTM and in all School sports related events and practices such as Freedom week celebrations, Independence Day, Annual Concert, Sports Day etc as informed by the school Principal;
- Performance of all ASPIRE events at all Sports Days and any other event as required by the School;
- Students participation in all appropriate international, national, state- level inter-school, inter- Billabong High competitions;
- Presence of coaches at all international, national, state- level inter-school, inter- Euro School and Billabong High competitions;
- Ensure efficient utilization of ASPIRE equipment/ resources leading to effective implementation of the curriculum;
- Conduct timely and Regular Curriculum Workshops & Instructor Reviews and report to HOS;
- Evaluate each ASPIRE instructor's performance on a regular basis and provide feedback and reviews.
- Communication between the School, CO & Coaches effective and timely.
- Arrange timely replacements for ASPIRE instructors and inform the Principal and the Operations Department well in advance
- Safe arrivals & dispersals of children to and from classrooms to the ASPIRE activity area.
- Communicate effectively with Parents at all times as per Euro School policy
- ASPIRE Curriculum related queries of prospective Parents are promptly and appropriately responded
- All documentation, circulars, log reports, management policies are properly processed & understood by all ASPIRE instructors
- Centre specific sports promotional events have positive outcomes
- Prepare bi-monthly reports for management review for all ASPIRE activities

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- A degree of Masters in Sports – M.Ped. Graduation in sports – B.Ped from a recognized university.
- Headed a Sports division in a School or College division for a minimum of 5 years.
- Participated in sports at the State/National/ International level
- Good analytical skills and abilityto make recommendations based on information gathered and soundjudgment.
- Ability to drive consensus decision-making, especially in conflicting situations
- Extrovert, collaborator, result-oriented, mentor and leader focused on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables
- Demonstrated abilityto work in a high-growth and dynamic schoolenvironment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, understand requirements and implement them at the school level
- Strong written and verbalcommunication as well as presentation skills.
- The ability to follow instructions but also come up with original ideas.
- Proficiency in the usage of relevantIT tools/platforms – Argus, Web genie, ZOHO, Scholaro
- Proficiency in the usageof the Linkedin platform for driving recruitments
- Knowledge of administration and management.
- A high degree of professionalism.
