- At least 2 years hands-on experience on the following
- writing SPL commands
- creating reports / alerts / lookups / dashboards
- building splunk apps
- developing with Splunk's REST API
- Basic understanding on configuring forwarder and the conf files
- Splunk certified developer with admin experience
