Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Splunk Administrator with strong Linux administration skills to manage, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Splunk environments and Linux infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for Splunk deployment, configuration, dashboard management, data onboarding, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise observability and log-management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Splunk Enterprise environments.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Splunk components.
• Manage indexers, search heads, forwarders, deployment servers, and cluster environments.
• Configure and manage Universal Forwarders and Heavy Forwarders.
• Perform log/data onboarding from Linux servers, applications, databases, and other sources.
• Create and maintain indexes, sourcetypes, data inputs, props.conf, transforms.conf, and related configurations.
• Monitor Splunk health, performance, storage, indexing, and search activity.
• Troubleshoot Splunk ingestion, parsing, indexing, search, and connectivity issues.
• Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and scheduled searches.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux/Unix servers, including user management, services, processes, filesystems, permissions, networking, and system logs.
