Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Speech Therapist based in Medavakkam. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders. Day-to-day tasks include designing individualized therapy plans, conducting therapy sessions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families and other professionals to support clients needs. The role involves working with individuals of all ages and adapting therapy techniques to achieve optimal results.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in Speech Therapy and Speech-related treatments
- Experience in diagnosing and treating Dysphagia
- Expertise in addressing Communication Disorders and improving speech clarity
- Proficiency in managing and treating Language Disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with patients and their families
- A relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Professional certification or licensure in speech therapy (as required by local regulations)
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting is an advantage
