- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Planning and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
- Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individual with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder or progressive neurological disorders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose Speech, Language, communication and swallowing disorders.
- Administer standardized tests and tools for evaluation.
- Preparing detailed assessment reports.
- Work on conversion (enrolling the patient for Speech & Language therapy)
- Design and revise monthly goal plans and intervention plans.
- Discuss the progress at the end of every month and take signed feedback from parents
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with parents (retention in therapy)
- Re-evaluate and prepare quarterly progress reports of the patient.
- Maintaining all records/documents of the child.
- Session reporting on attendance sheets.
- Maintaining records on MBOPs.
Maintaining a healthy work relationship with centre head, co-workers and reporting manager.
