We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults, to help improve their communication abilities and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support client needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Educate clients and their families about speech and language disorders and provide strategies for improvement.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
- Experience with swallow Therapy is mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and varying age groups.
- Proficient in using therapy tools and technology.
