Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children with speech, language, and communication needs in an on-site setting in Bengaluru. This full-time role involves conducting detailed evaluations, designing individualized treatment plans, and delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions. The professional will collaborate closely with caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to set goals, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, contributing to case discussions, and participating in parent education and training sessions. The role also involves staying updated with current research and best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy to support high-quality, child-centered care.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Speech Therapy and management of Speech-related concerns, with experience in pediatric populations.
  • Knowledge and clinical experience in assessing and treating Communication Disorders, including social communication challenges.
  • Expertise in evaluating and managing Language Disorders, including expressive and receptive language difficulties.
  • Competence in the assessment and treatment of Dysphagia, with a focus on safe feeding and swallowing practices.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from a recognized institution, with relevant professional licensure/registration where applicable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and engage families in care plans.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desirable; familiarity with developmental and neurodivergent conditions is an advantage.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and culturally sensitive practice, with the ability to adapt interventions to diverse backgrounds and needs.
