Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech and Language Therapist based in Chennai. The therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Daily tasks include developing tailored therapy plans, monitoring progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and educating families and caregivers to support rehabilitation goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and expertise in addressing Speech-related challenges.
- Experience in diagnosing and managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Knowledge and skills in assessing and treating Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients, families, and professional teams.
- Relevant certifications, degrees, or licensure in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
- Fluency in local languages is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting is an advantage.
