Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech and Language Therapist based in Chennai. The therapist will evaluate and treat individuals with communication, language, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, designing and implementing personalized therapy plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role also involves educating clients and their families about management techniques for long-term improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and the ability to address various speech-related challenges
- Experience in the evaluation and treatment of Dysphagia
- Strong understanding and expertise in managing Communication Disorders
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating Language Disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teams
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Prior experience working in rehabilitation or healthcare environments is an advantage
