Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech and Language Therapist located in Chennai. The responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The role also involves creating and implementing tailored therapy plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Additionally, the therapist will work with clients facing issues such as speech difficulties and dysphagia and provide necessary interventions to enhance their communication and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy, Speech, and Dysphagia management
- Experience in assessing and treating Communication Disorders
- Expertise in working with Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients effectively
- Ability to design and implement tailored therapy plans to address client-specific needs
- Professional qualifications in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
- Licensure or relevant certification required for practicing as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience working in rehabilitation centers or with diverse client populations is a plus
