Senior Manager - Specialized Accounting

Role Overview
As Senior Manager - Specialized Accounting, you will lead end‑to‑end P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting, including regulatory and SEC reporting, for FX products. You will partner closely with FX Operations, Collateral Operations, Global Cash teams, and Trading to investigate and resolve breaks, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvements across the close and reporting lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Business-as-Usual (BAU)
. Develop and mentor the team to adopt an owner's mindset
. Provide accounting analysis on complex issues
. Build subject matter expertise across supported products
. Lead or participate in functional projects
. Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
Daily
. Monitor daily reconciliations and resolve breaks
. Ensure FX FO reports agree to the GL
. Prepare and review daily FX P&L
Weekly
. Prepare regulatory reports (FC1, FIN 39)
. Post FX collateral netting entries
Monthly
. Coordinate month-end close activities
. Prepare and review account reconciliations
. Perform ledger to source system tie-outs
Quarterly
. Prepare regulatory and SEC reporting
. Execute CCAR CFO attestation testing
. Perform SOX control testing
Ad-hoc / Ongoing
. Maintain process documentation
. Respond to audit and regulatory requests
. Drive process improvements and automation
Qualifications & Experience
. CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) with 10-12 years R2R experience
. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, derivatives accounting
. Experience with SOX, controls testing and audits
. Global close and reporting experience
Skills
. Advanced MS Excel and Office skills
. Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase exposure
. Strong communication and analytical skills
