Duties & Responsibilities
- To prepare DEPR documents
- Supporting in making ERD's for the release of products
- Development of new patterns, cavities, layouts, and specifications.
- Co-ordination with the plant team to follow development activities.
- To work on product improvements
- To coordinate with design centres located abroad for design works.
- Responsible for end-to-end product development.
- Work on the in-house developed PLM software
- Ensure technical training for new team members
- Support interdepartmental activities
Key Result Areas:
- Number of new product developments as per plan
- Ensure a reply to OEM queries/requests from internal customers
- Ensure project design & development as per plan
- Make a presentation of findings & implementation in my current progress
- Provide OEM support for all released sizes
Requirements:
- Qualifications: BE, BTech
- Around 3- 6 years of hands-on experience in software like ACAD, 3D software like UG, and Catia
- Mandatory Experience in PCR, MCR & Two-Wheeler Tires
- Working knowledge of UG/CATIA-V5 will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to the NPD process in the tyre industry
- Experience in the design and development process in the relevant segment of the tire industry
- Knowledge of the tire manufacturing process
- Software like ACAD, 3D software like UG, Catia
