Work Location Bengaluru (Availability to work in all SG GSC offices as per need) Hybrid Model weekly 3-4 days working from office

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Senior Network specialist skilled and motivated for the role individual contributor required for team CFT/ITO/BIS/OPM - T2A. He should have a strong background on network concepts, system administration and troubleshooting. He will be responsible to understand user flow opening requirements, project priorities, timelines to qualify and validate the requests, coordinate with different teams in total conformity with the architecture and security prerequisites.

Responsibilities in the Role The role incumbent, as the Specialist Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Assist stakeholders in comprehending their cloud usage in relation to their budgetary projections and business plan.

2. Track and keep an eye on cloud expenditures, looking for any irregularities or disparities.

3. Assist in gathering and analyzing data to offer financial insights that are vital to Infrastructure and Operations division's success, with a particular emphasis on traditional, private, and public cloud.

4. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to advance an awareness of cloud consumption and a culture of cost accountability.

5. Guide application teams in understanding FinOps frameworks by conducting a FinOps coaching session.

6. Hold sessions with the application to offer suggestions / recommendations and assist customers in saving money.

7. Followup with application team and advise them to implement the recommendations

8. Determine potential infra services savings on AWS, Azure, and GTS services

9. Improve the applications resources i.e. CPU & memory efficiency running on docker.

10. Focus on process & tools to improve the daily activities.

11. Analyze, report, and produce meaningful insights from different sources as applicable and give recommendations based to save cost

12. Good understanding of Public & Private Cloud along with DevOps.

Education: Graduation in BE/B .tech , B.Sc, MCA,ME/ MTech

Profile Required Skills :

1. Good knowledge of Public and Private cloud w.r.t to Compute, database, Storage, BigData etc. & other services used

2. Good understand of IT Infrastructure services w.r.t to Compute, database, Storage, BigData, Scheduling, Mainframe etc. & other services used

3. Good understanding of PowerBI

4. Finops

5. AWS and Azure.
