Role Summary
The L15 Engineer will provide intermediatelevel support across Windows Linux and cloud environments Azure and AWS The role bridges the gap between L1 and L2 teams handling moderately complex issues performing system monitoring managing incidents and executing standard changes The engineer will ensure smooth daily operations within hybrid IT infrastructures by collaborating with technical teams and maintaining documentation and process compliance
Key Responsibilities
Monitor Windows and Linux server environments ensuring uptime and performance are maintained
Manage daytoday incidents service requests and s escalated from L1
Perform basic troubleshooting and escalation for OS application and networkrelated issues
Support Azure and AWS infrastructure tasks including instance monitoring user administration and backup validation
Execute approved operational changes such as patching restarts and configuration updates under supervision
Maintain system logs server health checks and monitoring dashboards
Coordinate with L3 teams for advanced troubleshooting and escalation
Ensure that incidents and changes adhere to SLA and ITIL processes
Maintain accurate documentation including runbooks checklists and operational guides
Participate in shift handovers service reviews and incident summary discussions
Participate in shift rotations ensuring coverage for 24x7 operations across environments
Required Skills Experience
Handson experience with Windows Server 201220162019 and major Linux distributions RHEL Ubuntu or SUSE
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Active Directory DNS DHCP and file services
Familiarity with Azure and AWS management consoles for basic administrative activities
Ability to manage monitoring tools eg Nagios Zabbix CloudWatch or Azure Monitor
Basic understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware or HyperV
Exposure to backup tools and patch management systems
Knowledge of ITIL processes for ticket management escalation and service continuity
Strong analytical ability to identify troubleshoot and document recurring system issues

Strong documentation skills for maintaining standard operating procedures change logs and knowledge base articles
Effective communication skills for coordinating with crossfunctional teams and escalating incidents clearly
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail
Capability to work under pressure in a 24x7 rotational environment

Certifications Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent field
Certification in Linux RHCSA LPIC1 or Microsoft MCSA preferred
Basic certifications in Azure AZ900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner are desirable
ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage
