Key Responsibilities

This Software Engineering position is dedicated to the development of advanced automation capabilities within Networks. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation solutions that streamline network operations, enhance network performance, and improve overall efficiency. This role requires a strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages and affinity with network architecture and its protocols, and technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing network infrastructure. •   Identifying an implementing automation solution that reduce operational costs and improve resource efficiency.

•   Leading the end-to-end automation development process, from identifying opportunities and designing solutions to implementation and integration with existing network infrastructure.

•   Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimise network operations.

•   Ensuring through documentation of all automation processes and maintaining adherence to industry standards and best practices.

•   Coordinating with cross -functional teams to align automation efforts with project goals and timelines, and to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.

•   Implementing continuous improvement processes to refine automation capabilities and enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of network operations.

•   Providing training and support to network engineers and others stakeholders on the use and benefits of automation tools and processes.

Skills and Experience

Python full stack development with experience in network automation.   Core

Flask or Django framework   Advanced

Front-end development using bootstrap and JavaScript   Core

GIT, Ansible, terraform etc   Advanced

Unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)   Core

PostgreSQL, SQLite, MySQL - Configuration and Management   Advanced
