Specialist-Scrum master

Accelya is seeking a dynamic Specialist - Scrum Master to lead cross-functional teams in delivering agile-based project deliverables. You will facilitate the team's work to accelerate the delivery of business value by ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and processes. This role involves facilitating internal and external communication, removing impediments, and serving as the intermediary between multiple product owners, managers, and team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and Facilitate sprint sessions (planning sessions, iterations, retrospectives, demos, etc.).
• Support and educate Product Owners, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Track and communicate team progress, sprint, or release progress.
• Mentor and coach the Scrum team to instill Agile values and principles and lead by example.
• Keep the Scrum process on track and foster self-organization within the team.
• Coordinate across other agile teams for complex projects.
• Strengthen the presence of our team as an Agile Center of Excellence.
• Act as a project manager when necessary.
• Empower your team to self-organize.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Advanced understanding of and experience with Software Development project life cycles.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Solid oral, written, and presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, acting as a voice of reason and authority.
• Capable of completing independently diverse/complex work with minimal direction, diverse interactions, and knowledge resources.
• Professional Scrum Master Certificate is required.
• Identifies non-development dependencies related to delivery.
