The RPA Engineer will provide day-to-day support for our RPA environments and production processes including bot deployment, maintenance, monitoring, triage, troubleshooting and root cause analysis with timely closure of issues. The Support Engineer will also implement approved automation enhancements requested by our business partners.

Preferred skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in RPA Development & support.
  • 3+ years of experience with RPA technologies (Blue Prism, UiPath, Power Platforms).
  • In-depth experience with Confluence, JIRA, ServiceNow, Splunk, Tableau.
  • Besic experience in MS SQL script, VBA, Python, C#, JSON, PowerShell
  • Experience in orchestrating and managing unattended Bots that are running concurrently at the same time.
  • Demonstrated experience in process reengineering and has successfully led end to end RPA projects in a complex multi-application and technology environments

Qualifications

What you will do

  • Provide production support/process monitoring for our bots (digital workers). Ensure the Bots are running and doing the work using CTWO or Blue Prism control room and/or other automated monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes to issues by doing a thorough root cause analysis and impact of the defect. Take ownership of complex support issues and engage the appropriate resources to reach resolution. Ensure the result of the root cause analysis is documented.
  • Maintain and monitor our production and development environments and ensure the stability of the environments. Identify and address potential issues that can occur, and ensure the environment provides the required capacity to scale up and down based on existing volume and future volume based on project pipeline.
  • Create, maintain and update Bot credentials and ensure the credentials are following our Logical Access Security Directive.
  • Help identify gaps that may exist in our automation monitoring capabilities and implement necessary configuration changes in our RPA platforms that integrate with the company's standard monitoring tools.
  • Ensure operational and daily support activities are completed in a timely manner in compliance with the Service Level Agreement requirements.
  • Interface and coordinate with various stakeholders for Bots deployment in production per our automation lifecycle and deployment governance.
  • Understand system and business changes that may impact our automated processes and manage the changes by working collaboratively with our business partners without disruption to production processes.
  • Define and identify level of effort to work on automation enhancements requested by our business partners. Work and implement the requested improvements.
  • Define and recommend enhancements to existing production support processes and procedures to improve efficiency and support operations that result in superior end user experience.
  • Support weekly RPA environment maintenance plan including server patching to address vulnerabilities that may exist in our automation environments.
  • Work on assigned shift schedules and provide on call support per the support team on call scheduling.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain departmental processes and documentation, leveraging best practices. Continuously update our production support knowledge base. Ensure all written documentation is clear, understandable, audience appropriate and accurately capture the key information required.
  • Develop and manage effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and business partners.
  • Apply sound risk management principles, identify, raise and proactively address potential risks related to our automation environments.
  • Perform regular audit and compliance reviews to ensure compliance with our established standards and processes, policies and procedures (eg. periodic access review).
  • Ensure our stakeholders are informed on changes, outages and issues related to their automations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Deliver findings and make recommendations for actionable insights to the leadership team to drive change and improvement on complex issues.
  • Contribute to the development of RPA Operations and Support roadmap. Lead or support key Operations initiatives.
