About The Role

We are seeking a specialist with hands-on expertise in the HP NonStop/Tandem platform and associated technologies to support software development, maintenance, and system improvement initiatives. The role involves working with Guardian, TACL, COBOL, Enscribe, SQL/MP, SQL/MX, and Pathway, with a focus on reliable system operations and collaborative delivery in banking and financial services environments.

Job Description

The candidate will work with HP NonStop hardware and software components, supporting applications developed using COBOL, SCOBOL, DDL, Enform, and TAL procedure calls. The role includes working with NonStop databases, requestor-server communication through Pathway, system utilities, version control tools, and debugging environments.

The position also requires an understanding of system architecture, software development and maintenance practices, and industry technology trends. Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication on NonStop systems is desirable, as is familiarity with banking applications, ACH systems, fund transfers, and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain applications running on the HP NonStop/Tandem platform.
• Work with Guardian, TACL, OSS, COBOL, SCOBOL, DDL, Enform, and TAL procedure calls.
• Manage database operations involving Enscribe, SQL/MP, and SQL/MX.
• Support requestor-server communication using Pathway and utilities such as FUP, KLIST, SCUP, TACL, and TMF.
• Use version control tools, including RMSCOM and Git, and debugging tools such as Inspect, Visual Inspect, and eInspect.
• Contribute to software development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Apply system architecture knowledge and technology best practices when supporting applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on banking, financial, and payment-related applications.
