To identify profitable opportunities that meet market needs, launch products in the market, oversee products already in the market and wind down products that no longer meet market needs

- Understand customer/ product complaints and work towards rectification through product improvements or new products
- Identifies new product opportunities in the market
- Tests / Trials own products and that of competition regularly
- Develops Market Based Product Strategies
- Conducts extensive Research (mostly secondary)
- Is aware of and understands the competition
- Identifies product gaps vis--vis the competition
- Bridges Every Department That Touches Product viz.,Sales, Market Communication, Technical, Quality & Design, Customer Service & Operations

- Working towards identifying the NPRs and getting it approved for the Segment
- Support for NPR documentation and approval
- Identify rationalization opportunities within the segment
- Identifying low performing SKUs and working towards identifying possible solutions to improve the sales for the same
- Updating roadmaps for the segments
- Identifying new requirements for the Segment

- 4-6 years of total experience in Product management or related roles in tire/OEM companies
