Job Summary:
As a
Specialist IS Architect you are responsible for defining, governing, and evolving
information systems architecture across the enterprise. This role ensures that application, data, integration, and platform architectures are
aligned with business strategy, security standards, and long‑
term technology roadmaps. The role acts as a trusted technical advisor, guiding solution design and driving consistency, scalability, and reliability across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain IS architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures
- Lead architecture design for complex, cross‑domain initiatives and transformations
- Review and approve solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategy into architecture
- Identify architectural risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and target‑state architecture definitions
- Support architecture governance, design reviews, and decision forums
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-13 years of experience in Information Systems / IT, including architecture roles
- Strong experience in configuring/ developing and deploying with salesforce platform
- Strong background in enterprise, solution, and integration architecture
- Experience aligning technology solutions with business and platform requirements
- Working Knowledge and Experience of application, data, integration, and platform architecture concepts
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or field
- Have working experience with designing and solutioning for Salesforce application, and use of additional technologies like AWS, databricks.
- Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
- Experience participating in or leading architecture review boards
- Operates independently as a recognized architecture specialist
- Influences technology direction without direct authority
- Balances innovation, risk, cost, and operational stability
- Provides mentorship and architectural guidance to delivery teams
