Required Skills and Responsibilities
Understanding of product development life cycle, design for manufacturing.
Co-ordination with internal/external stakeholders
Experience in designing microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits.
Knowledge in communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, etc
Knowledge of components selections/design, BOM preparation, thermal analysis/calculations, and spice simulations.
Experience in analog and digital circuit design, board level power supply design (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear). Experience in motor driver/control circuit design (Stepper, BDC, BLDC, Motor drivers).
Experience in MOSFETs, Driver circuits (PMOS, NMOS, High Side, Low side, H-bridge) and current sensing circuits, amplifier etc.
Experience in EMI/EMC compliant design. Participation in EMC testing in external labs
Experience with CAD tool (Altium/ORCAD) for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
Experience in board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting the electronic circuits.
Ability to perform Test & Measurement activities using Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer etc.
Basic understanding FMEA and FMEDA on Electronic design.
Preparing project documentation like Requirement documents, Layout guidelines, worst case calculations, Hardware design documents, test plan, test report etc. Additional skill set:
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary design team.
Good team player and should have strong analytical, and logical skills.
Good communication skills.
BE/B-Tech/ME/MTech (Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation related branches)
