Marsh India Knowledge Service is seeking a skilled professional to join our Property Valuation Consulting team, based in Mumbai or Gurugram. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week working onsite/office.
As a part of the Marsh Risk Consulting team in Knowledge Services function, we are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional with advanced proficiency in excel to support the Property Valuation team in the Pacific region, focusing on Tangible Building Asset Valuation within property insurance. The incumbent will engage and provide support on a broad-spectrum area e.g. data consolidation, validation, management, and report out to stakeholders encompassing building attributes and other areas within property valuation scope of work.
We will count on you to:
- Assist the Property Valuation team by consolidating and managing large datasets related to tangible building assets using various tools (i.e. Origami) and techniques.
- Support in timely completion of all allocated Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and proposal (includes pricing, fee calculation and SOW).
- Collaborate closely with Property Valuers to provide technical and analytical support, ensuring valuation accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize CoreLogic and other subscribed valuation tools/software to support data analysis and asset valuation processes.
- Contribute to project management activities, including tracking progress, coordinating tasks, and supporting timely delivery of valuation projects.
- Participate in training programs focused on financial valuations and Origami software to enhance technical expertise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation standards and best practices. Also, create a repository of important documents in a shared space for easy access and decision making.
What you need to have:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in property valuation support, data management, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
- Project management/Project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Solid understanding of tangible building asset valuation concepts; ability to apply valuation knowledge in support roles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a valuation team.
