Designation:Specialist - Accounting and Reconciliation

Base Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Manager - Finance

Key responsibilities:

• Manage operational delivery of AP, AR, and R2R processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to timelines.
• Act as the first point of contact for issue resolution, escalations, and exception handling in finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies, accounting standards, and applicable statutory regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and IT to support end-to-end finance activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
• Contribute to automation initiatives, ERP enhancements, and process standardization projects.
• Coordinate with auditors (internal/external) to support audit processes and provide timely responses to audit queries.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions and approvals

Qualifications, Experience and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. CA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work in shifts as per business requirement, including night shift if required

Experience:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to AP, AR, and R2R processes.
• Experience in managing teams and working in a shared services or multinational environment is desirable.
• Prior involvement in process improvement or ERP implementation projects is an added advantage.
